Instructions for downloading photos from a Google Drive Folder

Desktop

Option 1: Download Individual Photos

  1. Open the Google Drive link in your web browser. 

  2. Double-click any photo to view it full screen.

  3. Click the Download icon (a down arrow over a tray) in the top-right corner.

Option 2: Download the Entire Folder

  1. Open the Google Drive link in your web browser. 

  2. Near the top-left of the screen, click the folder name or the three dots (...) next to it.

  3. Select Download. 

  4. Google Drive will automatically bundle the photos into a single .zip file and save it to your computer’s Downloads folder. 

  5. To open the files:

    • Mac: Double-click the downloaded .zip file to expand it. 

    • Windows: Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All.

Instructions for iPhone

Option 1: Download Individual Photos to Your Camera Roll

  1. Open the Google Drive link (if you have the Google Drive app installed, open it there for the smoothest experience). 

  2. Tap the photo you want to save.

  3. Tap the three dots (...) in the top-right corner. 

  4. Tap Send a copy. 

  5. Select Save Image. The photo will now appear directly in your iPhone Photos app.

Option 2: Download All Photos at Once

Using the Google Drive App (Recommended):

  1. Open the folder inside the Google Drive app. 

  2. Press and hold down on any single photo until a checkmark appears.

  3. Tap the Select All icon at the top right (looks like a square with dotted edges). 

  4. Tap the three dots (...) in the top-right corner. 

• 5. Tap Save to Photos (or Send a copy > Save Images). All photos will save to your Camera Roll.
